Henry Thornton - Lifestyle: A discussion of economic, social and political issues The Bald Archys - 2003 Date 27/03/2003
Member rating 4/5

Henry today caught the opening of the Bald Archys - the ordinary people's answer to the establishment's Archibald. The show is at the Custom's House in Sydney and should not be missed. The judge is a Cockatoo called Maude, whose decisions are no more mysterious than those of the Archibald judges.

"Comic portraits of celebrities, politicians, sports identities and media personalities by professional and amateur artists from across Australia."

Paintings posted here with permission, so that those of us not lucky (or rich) enough to live in Sydney can share the mirth. Thanks also to the team at Wiliam.com.au for capturing the photos so well.
