Henry...have you noticed that there is a war going on? I don't mean Iraq. I mean all those bits and pieces places where Islamic Jihadists are working like beavers to promote their agenda. Our side meanwhile is lumbering around, equipped to fight World War 3 in Europe. To get technical, we are equipped to fight Third Generation warfare while the Jihadists are brilliantly executing their Fourth Generation warfare victories. This story about Somalia from Debka involves our old friend Iran and uranium. That alone should cause heartburn in our tents. I don't see any ripple of concern from our side about this evil development unfolding on the shores of the Indian Ocean.

As you know, I am a great fan of America as the Guarantor of Western Liberty and equally of the ANZUS Treaty. When I look at events like this one in Somalia I ask myself why Australia is not doing more to fight the Jihadists, the enemy of our way of life. We didn't need to be asked twice in 1914 or 1939 or 1950 in Korea or even in Vietnam. Yet today we have non fighting soldiers in Iraq and a murky set up in Afghanistan. Why? When did the Australian government suddenly get taken over by social workers? Does the government actually believe its own line about al Qaeda? Are we in danger from Islamist terrorism? Like John Howard I answer YES to both of these questions...so why aren't we doing the traditional Australian thing and doing it properly?

I recently heard some marvellous words of praise about our own beloved diggers in the SAS from two soldiers, one a Pom and the other an Irishman, both in the British Army. Swelled my chest with pride. Shouldn't we have lots more of these defenders of the West and our Civilization? Shouldn't the grandsons of Tobruk and Kokoda be out there putting their shoulders to the wheel...and all done with the total support of our Parliament and Nation.

How many more countries will have to fall into the pits of despair as Jihad descends on them like night, while we do nothing at all about it? Surely there is not anyone left who is unaware that the Islamic Jihadists are now fully engaged in their Imperialist war...it is not about the Palestinians or such like cosmetic excuse. Surely that bit of play acting by the muzzies has been seen through. The Islamic agenda promoted with oceans of Wahhabi Saudi money is in full stride...and we do nothing except pretend in Iraq, just to satisfy the agenda of the American Republican Party.

Don't they know in Canberra that there is a war going on?

Somali jihadists armed by Syria and Iran fought in Hizballah’s war against Israel. Iran is after Somali uranium

A United Nations 86-page report discloses that in mid-July, more than 720 combat-hardened fighters were personally selected by Aden Hashi Farah of the Somali Islamist front, some of whose leaders belong to al Qaeda, to fight in Lebanon in return for training and arms from Iran and Syria.

DEBKAfile adds: This information was unknown to Israeli intelligence in the Lebanon war during which Israel blockaded Lebanon by sea, land and air.

At least 100 Somalis returned home by September accompanied by 5 Hizballah members, while others stayed in Lebanon for advanced training. Fighters were paid $2,000 for their services and $30,000 was awarded the families of those killed. Two Iranians are now in Dusa Mareb to discuss the exploration of uranium in exchange for arms for the Islamic Courts which has captured large parts of the country.

On July 27, some 200 Somali fighters traveled to Syria for guerrilla training; Libya trained another 100 and forwarded a million dollars to cover their wages and Hizballah maintains in Somalia a military delegation for training the Islamic Courts fighters.

The UN report notes that among the eleven countries keeping Somalia supplied with arms, food, fuel and doctors, are American allies, Saudi Arabia and Egypt as well as Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya and Djibouti.

Ethiopia, Uganda and Yemen are helping the transitional government based in Baidoa. A Security Council blockade on Somalia is recommended.
