Opponents of this result will see it as some sort of attack on religion. This is the fundamental error made by the appeasers of Islam: they think Islam is a religion, like Judaism and Catholicism are religions. The appeasers are wrong, Islam is not a religion it is a socio-political ideology like national socialism. It is a vehicle (like German national socialism) for the worldly and material advance of a particular ethnic group. In the case of national socialism it was the Germans and with Islam it is the Arabs. Anyone who follows this matter knows that non-Arab muslims are most definitely second and lower class citizens in the world of Islam.
 
I can give your readers, Henry, a quick check list of some similarities between these two socio-political ideologies. Readers should keep in mind that all the core concerns of Islam are materialist concerns ... there is no concern with any spiritual matter whatever. Those small quasi-muslim groups like the Sufis (and groups who have spun off them) who do have spiritual concerns came to their spirituality by mixing with Christians and Jews and Hindus and Buddhists a thousand years ago. (I recommend reading the poems of Rumi.) Hard core, Sharia pushing, Koran quoting muslims do not have any agenda that is not a material agenda. Islam is not a religion ... it is a political party. Here is a checklist ... it is not exhaustive.
 
1. Islam and national socialism are anti-semitic. The documentary evidence for this claim is available in the classical muslim writings and in the writings of national socialism. I don't think anyone with any insight will claim that Islam is not anti-semitic. It doesn't hide its views on Jews as Jews (as distinct from  views on Israel). These written and held views on Jews pre-date 1947 when the recently invented Palestinian people committed national suicide by making the wrong response to UN Resolution 181. Muslim hostility to Israel is based on the classical documents of their "religion" which demonise Jews.
 
2. Islam and national socialism are misogynistic. Women are lower beings (basically servants of men) in both these political ideologies. This is also undeniable to anyone in the world with any insight. Unfortunately the Western Left, including women of the Left, keep sliding away from this core political horror of Islam and closing their eyes to the subjegation of women and girls in Islam. The social/political achievements made in the West over the past 100 years for the liberation of women are entirely rejected by Islam. National socialism also had women as adjuncts to men and the state ... there to serve a purpose and not equal to men.
 
3. Islam and national socialism both advocate violence as a proper mode of response to any opposition they encounter. This violence is mandated in the core writings of Islam and has no recognition of others as having rights in any situation where muslims make a claim. Our daily media provides us with all the evidence of inherent islamic violence that a sensible person needs.
 
4. Islam and national socialism practice censorship of ideas and beliefs which do not correspond to the official political ideology. Control of the groups information base is a key activity of the leadership. The national socialists exercised this under Dr. Goebbels and every islamic country continues his line of work.
 
5. Islam and national socialism are homophobic. Obsession with how other people live their lives and with whom is a common trait in both these ideologies. This is a primary materialist concern for all leadership-groups who see people as principally breeding stock for the group. Human relations ( a principal spiritual concern in real religion) count for nothing in the ideology of Islam and national socialism. The nazis used judicial murder in this matter and Islamic authorities still do so.
 
6.Islam and national socialism both divide the human race into 'us and 'them'. This denial of the unicity of the human race is a prime materialist act which allows and justifies the five points above, and many others besides.
 
Henry, these six points are a quick list of what is an easy case to make ... Islam is a totally materialist ideology and is no more a religion than was the human sacrifice base "religion" of the Aztecs or the Incas. We in Australia still pander to the Islamic leadership and agree with their claims to be a religion because we are by nature a tribe of appeasers. Not all of us are, but enough are ... many of these appeasers are working in leadership positions in our country. They are currently leading us into serious difficulties with these modern day (but fortunately not modern minded) national socialists.
 
The action of the Swiss voters in challenging the pretensions of organised Islam to be anything other than a political force is to be applauded. We don't have referenda in Australia like the Swiss have, so we must solve these questions in another way. A good place to start would be to insist on assimilation as a requirement for muslims in Australia. All the other migrants who have come here have done so to their great personal and individual benefit. The best way to achieve this is to remove all the imams (the Islamic gauleiters) from Australia. They are not priests, they are not required for any "prayers" said by any muslim. They are political leaders.
 
Australians need to look coldly at Islam. Do not automatically accept their claim to be a religion ... (do you accept the claim of Scientology to be a religion? ...) look coldly at the refusal of a lot of muslims to assimilate into this country and its values. Why do we have to accept this? Why can't we take action like the Swiss did?
